Hey Everyone
Weekend is here! Now I was optimistic about choosing healthy choices this weekend seeing as I don’t have my routine at work to stop me eating out of boredom etc…. but then I didn’t realise the world was against me!
Last night was fun, we had a dancing night on the wii to Abba and Michael Jackson. All the family joined in and we played until we could not stand anymore, however today I woke up abit sore so I guess that shows how many muscles I do not normally use haha.
Me and the boyfriend went to Bolton today for abit of shopping and to have a look round, change of scenery and I was good at lunch time, I swapped a Mexican Chicken Sandwich for Spicy Chicken Pasta an saved myself some calories and a few grams of fat, tasted nice but my mouth ended up on fire for the rest of the afternoon haha! We also went to Costa (our little tradition) and I had a small Hot Chocolate made with soya milk but…..I then had ¼ Blueberry Muffin… I blame my boyfriend as he bought it without me knowing and then put it in my face! Lol.
I would say so far…not so bad, but then the evening came and we both wanted to go out and do something but we weren’t sure what to do. My boyfriend wouldn’t stop going on about seeing the new batman film The Dark Knight Rises and so we decided to go for something to eat first and then go to the cinema.
After a lot of walking round to different restaurants (as I think everyone has the same plan we did that night), the waiting time for food was too long as we had to be at the cinema at a specific time so we ended up at Pizza Express as they were serving customers a lot quicker.
Breakdown of today’s meals:
Breakfast: 3 x Weetabix and Soya Milk
Mid-Morning Snack: Nothing
Lunch: Spicy Chicken Pasta (Greggs) and ¼ Muffin
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Nothing
Tea: ½ small Tomato Garlic Bread, 2 small Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, Pollo Ad Astra Pizza
Evening Snack: Sweet Popcorn
Now looking at what I had for my team I am utterly disappointed in myself! L I ordered the same pizza but the one with the salad in the meal and I was really looking forward to eating it, but then the full pizza came and we were conscious of the time and so I ate the pizza instead, however I will say (just to make myself feel better) that I did not eat all the pizza/bread etc…
And because I thought I was being bad with the pizza I didn’t say no to sharing popcorn with my boyfriend at the cinema. I seemed to have Alien Hand Syndrome and my hand kept going in, however I did stop myself! So I think it is safe to say that Day 6 of my Fit For Christmas weight loss journey was a complete fail L
I am not looking forward to weigh in Day 7 tomorrow….
