The working week is over!! The real temptation begins, although I have started it on a good note…. I said no to going out for a meal tonight (I knew if I said yes were we would be going and what I would be eating!).
Breakdown of today’s meals:
Breakfast: Fruit Salad (Grapes, Strawberries, Kiwi, Apple, and a Satsuma) – must admit did not eat all this, just too much!!
Mid-Morning Snack: Banana
Lunch: 1 x Birdseye Chicken, 2 x Tbsp Sweetcorn, 2 x Handfuls Pasta and 2 x Tbsp Mayonnaise
Mid-Afternoon Snack: Alpro Natural Soya Yoghurt
Tea: Homemade bolognaise – so all healthy and natural ingredients and very little pasta!!
I must say it has been a struggle today emotionally. Been such a tiring day and I don’t know about everyone else but I know I reach for comfort foods (mainly biscuits etc) when I am stressed and just want to flop down on the sofa and eat what I want when I want… although I still have resisted (didn’t realise I had so much will power!) J
Going shopping tomorrow with the boyfriend and our usual ‘routine’ when we get a weekend together is to go to Costa and order 2 x Hot Chocolate and 1 x Blueberry Muffin to share. Looks like I am going to have to resist that this weekend….. still think I will go for the hot chocolate (cannot say no to that!).
*TIP*: Resist buying unhealthy foods when going food shopping, that way you won’t have to resist when it is in the house!
