Hi Everyone
Well once again it has been a hungry day; don’t know what to do with myself; although I have eaten healthily so far by my standards. I didn’t have much time this morning to make lunch for work so I took some fruit and a big bowl of that does fill you up at the time but then I was hungry (again!) when I got in from work and instead of snacking on biscuits and crisps I had some toast as I knew my evening meal wasn’t going to be for another 3-4 hours!
Breakdown of todays meal:
Breakfast: Special K and Soya Milk
Mid-Morning Snack: Banana and Go-Ahead Apple and Raisin Bar
Lunch: Fruit Salad (Strawberries, Grapes, Mixed Berries, Kiwi, Apple, and a Satsuma), and 2 Caramel Snack-a-Jacks
Mid-Afternoon Snack: 2 x Seeded bread, 2 tsp butter and thinly spread Lemon Curd
Tea: Roast dinner (made by someone else): Turkey , Cauliflower, Swede/Carrots, Sprouts, Stuffing, 1 x Yorkshire , 2 small Roast Potatoes and Spoonful of mash potato.
Now I know my roast dinner at the restaurant wasn’t as healthy as if I made one myself but it is better than burger and chips! I think it is safe to say I can pretty much guarantee that I’ve had near enough of my 5-a-day of fruit and vegetables – which is always a bonus! J
Oooh, also I went to Pilates last night, it wasn’t a big class, there were about 8 of us (I was the youngest and least flexible - quite embarassing!). The class lasted and hour and was very relaxing and low impact. It is one of those classes that take a while to see results and so you need motivation and patience. I am going again next week and hope to stick at it as I know it will be good for me in the long term.
*TIP*: Don’t get hunger confused with being thirsty. Have a drink before reaching for a snack! It is the mind playing games with you!
Well… I am stuffed!! Oh and I also said no to dessert! I deserve a medal! haha. See you tomorrow for the last working day of the week…..FRIDAY! J
